Job Description

The Senior Client Adviser will be responsible for sourcing and engaging with the target client segment,  providing them with quality financial advisory services in both advice and solutions across Singapore.  You will be instrumental in developing opportunities from within the Singapore expatriate, organisation's community and other sources along with building the Wealth Management business and team profile both externally and internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new clients and referral sources through personal networking and prospecting activities

  • Delivering holistic advice and product solutions to clients within the fee for service framework

  • Developing and nurturing internal referral sources

  • Rolling out financial education and well-being programs to the existing corporate clients and targeting the relevant client segments

  • Building and nurturing client relationships through quality advice and a structured review program via the private client service

  • Growing the business via the achievement of revenue targets

Adopting advice process, risk management framework to operate within Singapore’s regulatory framework


Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar advice role (a minimum of three years’ experience as a practicing financial adviser is desirable)
  • Ability to deal with expatriate clients, senior executives and identify/recognize their financial planning needs and translate this into profitable business

  • Solutions orientation and client centric approach

  • Sound understanding of advice processes and product solutions

  • Strong networking skills and the ability to establish relationships within the expatriate community

  • Capacity to deal with individual and corporate clients

  • Ability to build and maintain referral relationships with key areas of the business

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Excellent presentations skills (one on one and to an audience)

  • Maturity in all relationships at all level

  • Ability to drive, lead and adapt to change

  • Results and goal oriented

  • Commercially driven with high self-motivation

  • Tertiary degree and or CFP qualified highly desirable

  • Completion of CMFAS examinations 5,6,6A, 8, 8A, 9 & 9A is desirable
